Truck Unit
A powerful V8, 5.21 litre engine on a 4 x 4 Dodge Dakota (or similar) chassis.

Although only a two berth, this popular unit, with its powerful 4x4 chassis, makes long distances easy to travel. More adventurous visitors would find this unit best for wilderness trips in the more rugged parts of British Columbia or Alaska. The camper offers the basics in self catering

Truck Unit
This is a three quarter ton extended Cab, 4x4 Chevy Silverado Turbo diesel truck with a Duramax 6600 V8 developing 300 hp.
General
Although this truck and camper are two units, individually they offer the best in facilities. The power from the turbo diesel will give great fuel economy and its 4 wheel drive really lets you get into those wilderness areas. The camper has all the luxuries of home, shower, loo, fridge, cooker - everything you need to make your trip to Western Canada an enjoyable one.

Unlike the Truck Campers the Van Conversion is one unit. The 17 ft offers similar accommodation to the 7.5 - Truck Camper, it's a comfortable vehicle but with only the basic equipment. A high power/weight ratio gives reasonable fuel consumption and the camper will furnish a good meal and warm bed. This unit is best at fully serviced campgrounds.

Although these units enjoy an extra 2 ft in length and greater width over the smaller van conversions, this space is used up by the bathroom which sometimes has to be constructed out of the privacy doors. However, these units do have all the comforts of home. They are very popular with overseas visitors who feel quite at home with the size and facilities

General
This is the smallest of the America C Class motorhomes and is a compact vehicle with all the comforts of home and a reasonable amount of space particularly for two. In good weather most campsites have a picnic table on the pitch so you can really live out of the vehicle and have fridge and storage closeby. This neat unit is also popular with overseas visitors as it is easy to use around town and out in the country.

General
These vehicles are probably the most popular size for overseas visitors. The extra internal size in length and height and width gives a family a reasonable amount of living space plus all the comforts of home. Most units have a large amount of storage in cupboards not only around the roof line of the vehicle but also in exterior compartments. The permanent double bed at the rear of the vehicle makes this unit great for couples and families.
Like the smaller 20/21 units, these vehicles also have V8 or V10 petrol engines of between 6.8 and 8.1 litre capacity.
Standard equipment comes in the shape of 3 speed automatic transmission, power steering, brakes, roof and dash air-conditioning, cruise control and tilt steering.

General
While you might think this unit would only take families, dont be surprised to see just couples in vehicles this size or even bigger. The rear bedroom is very useful if two couples are travelling together as it gives a modicum of privacy. There is no shortage of living space, storage space or general living facilities. There really is nothing to beat sitting outside your camper besides your fire pit enjoying a glass of wine while watching the night sky
A beefy 68 litre V10 Triton engine makes sure of easy mountain motoring. In the cab you have dash air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, 3 speed automatic transmission, cruise control and tilt steering. AM/FM stereo radio with CD player. For 2005, the two swivel chairs will be replaced by a sofa.
