No drop off charge for one way bookings from Calgary to Vancouver if you collect your vehicle by 30th May 2012.
One ways rental are normally subject to a charge of £329 eastbound and £391 westbound + tax
Extended Hours Service:
Sunday and National holiday pre noon collection or return for £57 + tax
General Information :
Preparation Charge:
Propane is not included in the Prep fee but Westcoast Mountain Campers will collect you from downtown hotels in Vancouver and return you to the airport. No downtown transfers at the end of the rental
Credit Card Charges:
Please note we can accept payment by Visa or Mastercard with a small charge of 2.5%
Minimum rental:
There is generally a minimum 7 night's rental charge on all hire including one way trips, special discounts have longer minimum rentals.
Immigration & Driver Qualifications:
If you are a British Citizen, you do not need a Visa to enter Canada but will do if you travel over the border to the USA. If you qualify for the Visa Waiver Programme, you will be required to obtain an Electronic Visa. Click here to take you through to the Homeland Security website (click here). You will need your Passport details and some idea where you plan to be while in the USA. Please note that you may need to enquire at the US Embassy in London if you have a criminal record, this includes a drinking and driving ban. From October 2005 all UK passports holders will require machine readable documentation to enter the USA. Children will also be required to hold their own passport. There have also been recent reports that UK Passports issued to British Subjects have encountered problems when checking in for flights. If you hold a Passport that shows you are a British Subject (not Citizen) officially you require a Visitors Visa and should contact the Canadian High Commission on 0906 861 6644 (Premium rate line)
Minimum driving age is 25 and the maximum 70 and you must provide a valid domestic driving licence. You are not procluded from driving if you are over 70, but you will need to let us know so we can clear this with the vehicle supplier. Drivers aged between 21 and 24 may drive the motorhomes on payment of a $7.00 per person per day supplement. Only named persons may drive the motorhome, extra drivers over 25 are permitted at no extra cost.
First night and vehicle hand over and return:
Westcoast Mountain campers will require you to spend your first night in a hotel. Both depots will collect you from an airport area hotel and in Vancouver they will also collect from downtown properties.
Many hotel offer a free shuttle from the airport but in Vancouver you will need to take public transport as the hotel sin the city do not have this facility.
